My Approach

It starts with listening.

I begin by listening to the people who know the organization best - the people doing the work and the people whose lives it touches. From those conversations, I look for the stories that reveal why the work matters, and shape them into a film that feels honest, human, and engaging.

The Process

From first conversation to finished film

Shape the film

We begin with a conversation about your organization, the work you do, the people you serve, and what you hope the film will accomplish.

Together, we identify the people and stories that can bring your organization's work to life in an honest and compelling way.

I conduct the interviews and capture the people, places, and details that give the story its texture and authenticity.

In the editing room, I bring the interviews and images together into a clear, engaging story designed for your audience.

Respect Matters

Every story deserves care and dignity

When people agree to be part of a film, I want them to feel heard and respected. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and give them room to speak in their own voices.

I don't believe a fundraising film needs to exaggerate or manipulate. The strongest stories are honest ones - stories that help an audience understand the work of an organization through the real experiences of the people involved.

Let's talk about your project

If you're considering a film for your nonprofit, I'd be glad to hear about your organization, what you hope the film will accomplish, and how I might help.
